There seems to be another issue with Mankai duckweed – apart from the B12 content being quite low and not having being tested in humans. Mankai duckweed is a cadmium accumulator – maybe all Wolffia species are. Also it seems to be that “Mankai” refers to a substrain of Wolffia globosa not all Wolffia globosa.
